Someone had very famously said that being in routine is far more lethal than going outdoors for adventures. And routine along with continuous usage of smart devices has made us couch surfers and has alienated us from people around us and more importantly from nature & its beauty.
However things are changing, people have started to talk and practice digital detox, which is getting away from all kinds of electronic devices & screens, and the one thing that is gaining most prominence is going for outdoor adventure activities that include Camping, Dance, Hiking, Hunting, Indoor Sports, Mountain/Rock Climbing, and various types of Outdoor Sports, Racket Sports, Running, Survival, Team Sports, Water Sports.
All these activities entail physical effort that adds to one’s physical health & mental well-being basking in the beauty of nature and being in the sunlight that helps the human body to produce enough Vitamin D. The age-old aspects of problem-solving by being in a group and the feeling of sharing also get augmented.
